Development and Quality Manager, Adviser Partners
The Development and Quality Manager key leadership role within the National Broker team and plays a critical role in ensuring that our Broker channel operates efficiently and effectively, contributing directly to The Co-operative Bank's growth and customer success. This role partners closely with Mortgage Advisers to foster long-term relationships and ensure high standards in home loan applications. By collaborating across the business, the role drives process improvements that deliver better customer outcomes.
The Development and Quality Manager supports the Bank's goal of helping Kiwis achieve financial well-being by ensuring Mortgage Advisers are equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and support to deliver exceptional service. The focus is on driving application quality, improving conversion rates, and ensuring Mortgage Advisers align with our values and purpose.
With accountability to drive growth and enhance performance within our Broker channel, this role works alongside the Adviser Partner Manager and is responsible for fostering strong relationships with Mortgage Advisers, improving application quality, and ultimately increasing conversion rates for home loan applications.
The Development and Quality Manager will work closely with internal teams to improve processes, develop education programs for Mortgage Advisers, and oversee quality control to enhance loan application accuracy and efficiency. By driving Adviser engagement, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, this role directly contributes to improving customer satisfaction and achieving the bank’s strategic objectives.
You’ll bring the following experience to the table:
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging education programs to Mortgage Advisers that align with strategy and values, while confidently leading external engagement.
- Great relationship management and ability to build strong networks and collaborate across teams to execute effective relationship strategies.
- Minimum of 3 years Home Lending experience in the New Zealand Banking and finance industry
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (level 5) (residential Property Lending) desirable and a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is advantageous
